i don't know about you but I couldn't find one sign of life in this photo, which I think is a good thing. it goes well with the color and adds very nicely to the somewhat enchanting feeling I got from it. i don't know. makes me want to walk into the photograph itself and look for life and see what is inside these houses you have shot so delicately. photos like these are hard to find, and you've done well. i have a hunch this was transformed into sepia digitally. if so, could I perhaps see the original color or b&w? again, I may be wrong. I haven't been there.
I'm not a photographer by any means but daveo you ROCK!!! That photo is gorgeous....no words...just memories! Please send it to TIME or national geography or something...you've captured something special..
I really love the coloring and the angle of this shot. it truly does capture a sense of mystery and tranquility from the houses. good work. i thoroughly enjoyed looking at your photos.
